Fleetwood Mobile Home Serial Number Lookup
This is for the chassis only, and the last 6 numbers are the what you will refer to when talking to your chassis maker. You will also have a FIN which is the Fleetwood Identification Number. You will also have a serial number for the engine. Mine is a sticker on the oil pan. Dec 27, 2012 - These are the first questions we get asked at manufactured home inspections. •Why are there two VIN numbers on some mobile home titles? If you can locate either the HUD certification number or the serial number, then.
Best Answer: If you have the title the serial number will be on the title. Otherwise, there was (at the time of manufacture) a large (perhaps 8.5' X 11') sticker posted inside the mobile that would have all of the information about the mobile home including date of manufacture and serial number. That sticker would have been placed in the utility room on the inside of a cabinet door, inside the door of the furnace compartment, or on the inside of the water heater compartment door. It could also be near the power panel. If you cannot find the information label in any of these places go to your county records department to begin a search by address or owner.
There is no website that will help you find the information (unless you can access your local county records on line.) Good luck! The serial number will be on any title to the home, on the data plate, and usually written in some form on the steel frame. Ive most often found the data plate on the inside of a cabinet door, usually the kitchen cabinets, over or under the sink. On the steel frame, the numbers are normally written up front, near the hitch end, on the hitch, or the opposite end of the home, on the very last cross member. The number could be simply chalked on, painted on, stamped, or 'written' with a welder. Some communities require a mobile home 'tag', which is riveted to the siding, where it can easily be found.
The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid.
The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam. Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like that has been around since 1995.
