Quite an old 3G modem. I decided to plug this modem to my Windows 10 Home laptop, what a mistake it was. The installation went fine and w/o problems. But launching the installed application yielded no results - I was shown the information that 'OS not managed'. The application could not connect me to the internet. Closing it made it crash. So I decided to uninstall it.

In Programs and Features I saw two entries related to this modem. First I uninstalled the one that seemed to be the auxiliary one, and this went fine. But uninstalling the main one fails; the uninstaller won't proceed for a few minutes, eating up around 30% CPU, so I close it. The uninstaller by far didn't manage to remove the whole application, but at east it made me unable to launch it through the installed shortcuts in the Start menu.
