A bit of history: In 1970 the Colnago’s eagle emblem was replaced by the ace of clubs. The logo is a sign of Ernesto Colnago’s ambition to be “an ace in cycling”. Seat Tube 57, Top Tube 54, Head Tube 12.5, Standover 79. Edit: if it is a merican, which form a quick google glance it might be, judging by the filed lugs & cut out it could be, it still is a very nice bike, mericans are british made, not as well known as colnago, but of simular quailty. But it could also be a number of other makes.
I have people asking me at my rides but have no answer. Any info or ideas would be appreciated. It most often is year - month - day but can be year - week of the year (01 - 52) or some variation like that. My Tommasini is a 2 digit year and month followed by a 3 digit production number.

I cannot find it on the website links from KrateKraig so I'll try the serial number. I have another Colnago but it does not have serial numbers on it. Looks like it, was told it was a 2002 Colnago Classic 'Rabobank' theme paint.

I noticed that the orange color is different between the 2 bikes. I also noticed my bike has a different fork on it. I wish I had the original one.
